The Stodden Churches in March 2023
Funerals in the Stodden Churches
There were no funerals in February, but we remember those whose anniversary occurred during the month.
We remember with thanksgiving; Those we have loved but are with us no longer: Give rest, O Christ, to your servants with the saints where sorrow and pain are no more, neither sighing, but life everlasting. Eternal Father, let your light shine on those who mourn that they may rejoice in your comfort. Amen.

Worship in Stodden
We now have two services on a Sunday in a pattern that designed to give each church a set time on a set Sunday each month so that it should be easier for people in each village to know when there is service in their church.
All the services will be Holy Communion with the exception of Café Sunday. So you will see that we will have a regular 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sunday pattern.
All the services will have hymns, either using the Bose or with the organ.
We are not providing a ZOOM service on a regular basis now however on our Stodden website or via the weekly service news email you will find a morning prayer with readings to use for your own personal prayers, not just for today but for use during the week when you might find the need to spend some quiet time with God.
On a Sunday if you wish to worship from home you can join the Church of England Service that is available on the main C of E website which takes place at 9.00am and you can also find it on Facebook or YouTube. It will also be available for playback immediately afterwards.
If you email Stephen at stephenholroyd@btinternet.com you can be included in our weekly email which will update on the latest news about services in Stodden.
